In 2006, my world fell silent when I lost my mother. Anyone who has experienced this grief knows how deep the emptiness can be: even when surrounded by family, for a long time, I felt completely alone in the world. I moved between many homes, heard harsh words, and fell down more times than I can count. But life holds divine turnarounds.In 2017, everything changed with the birth of my son. In that moment, I experienced the greatest joy of my life. A lioness was born within me. That tiny human became my endless source of strength and energy. Two years later, life challenged me once again, and I found myself raising him on my own. It wasn’t easy. There were days of intense struggle, exhaustion, and moments when the urge to give up knocked on my door. But all it took was one look at my son for everything to be made new. I knew he was a gift from God, a heritage from the Lord that I needed to care for with all my love.Today, the chapters of my life have changed. I am married and have built the family I always dreamed of. I look back and realize that every scar shaped who I am. Today, I am a mother, I am a wife... but I also came to understand that, to take perfect care of everyone else, I needed to take care of myself too.
